World Book Day Competition
Huge congratulations to Erin, Ceri and Dafydd and Arran and Elena, winners of our world book day competition! Congratulations also to Ysgol Rhos Helyg, who has won a visit from Bardd Plant Cymru!
Competition Rules
1. The competition is open to all except for S4C staff, Boom Cymru TV Cyf. (the Company) staff, their immediate families and companies directly involved with this competition.
2. Entrants must be under 16 years old to enter this competition and entrants can be individuals or as a classroom or school.
3. To compete please send a photo of a child celebrating World Book Day, reading their favourite Welsh book , or dressed up as a character from their favourite Welsh book to cyw@s4c.cymru. Schools must send a picture of the pupils celebrating World Book Day, reading a Welsh book or dressed up as a character or characters from a Welsh book.
4. By competing you confirm that you have obtained permission from the parent/guardian of the child/children and consent for the pictures to be shown on S4C and Cyw’s Social Media Accounts and Website.
5.Three winners will be chosen from those individual entries received before the closing date and one winner from the school entries.
6. No entries received after the closing time will be included in the competition.
7. Winners will be announced on the Cyw website, Cyw Social Media Accounts and on Awr Fawr on the 5th of March, 2026. Prizes will be sent to the winners as soon as possible.
8. The competition will close at midday on the 14th of March, 2025.
9. The winners will be chosen by the Cyw Presenters. The company and S4C’s decision is final.
10. The prize is a collection of Cyw books for three individuals and a collection of books and a workshop from the Bardd Plant Cymru (Welsh-language Childrenn’s Laureate). No prizes may be exchanged and no cash alternative will be offered.
10. No responsibility is taken for entries that fail to arrive.

13. These terms and conditions apply in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
